FAQ

How many POND STRYDERS™ will I need for my pond?

Most ponds close to the average 11' x 16' size, need only one POND STRYDER™.  Depending on the size of your pond, you may need multiple units. If your pond is over 18' in length, width or both, you may need two or more POND STRYDERS™. Patented technology to connect multiple units together makes it possible to overcome unique situations

Where do I place the POND STRYDER™ in my pond?

For single POND STRYDERS™ the recommended location is closest to the center of the pond.

For multiple units it is recommended to position them closest to center as possible.

Does the POND STRYDER™ come with a net?

Kits are available with or without nets.

Mini POND STRYDER™ with net kits include a - 15' x 20' net

Standard POND STRYDER™ with net kits include a - 28' x 30' net

Note: Additional POND STRYDERS™ may be purchased without nets.

Does the POND STRYDER™ work in a waterfall or a pond-less waterfalls?

Yes, single or multiple units may be placed into a waterfalls environment. Anywhere nets need a boost, the POND STRYDER™ can help. In seasons when leaves come down waterfalls contribute large amounts of leaves directly into a pond increasing harmful leaf overloads. POND STRYDER™ elevates netting to help reduce the overload.

How many will I need in my waterfalls or pond-less waterfalls?

We recommend one POND STRYDER™ for every 15' of waterfalls length. Although this can vary given the fact all waterfalls differ in width, elevation rises and creativity. Sometimes, you may want to connect them side by side if you have a wide waterfalls. That said, judgment is needed when installing a POND STRYDER™. Again, most anywhere nets need a boost, the POND STRYDER™ can help by using single or multiple units.

Can I use my POND STRYDER™ during the winter?

The POND STRYDER™ has years of successful testing. It has shown durability and effectiveness under netting during winter snow loads.  Although this may or may not vary in extreme weather conditions due to the type, design or age of netting used.

Can I use my POND STRYDER™ in public waters?

The current POND STRYDER™ is designed for private water use only.

Models usable for public waters will be available in the coming years.
